Montbello High School : Edmiston Assignments

All student lessons will be based on the DPS Visual Arts standards.

Media 1 students

Students will script, shoot (videotape) and edit a production called "All About Me"

Students will use the cornell note format to define Chapter 1 vocabulary.

Students will complete a handout summarizing Chapter 1 information for understanding using the textbook and their cornell notes.

Students will use cornell note format to define Chapter 5 vocabulary.

Students will complete a handout summarizing Chapter 5 information for understanding using the textbook and their cornell notes.

Students will use camcorders to shoot shot sequences, examples include- wide shot, medium shot, close-up, and over the shoulder cut away.

Students will use I-Movie- Apple editing software to edit shot sequences into a photo montage.

Students will use Garage Band -Apple audio software to create an orginal song to edit into photo montage.

Students will use cornell note format to define Chapter 6 vocabulary.

Students will complete a handout summarizing Chapter 6 information for understanding using the textbook and their cornell notes.

Media 3 students

Produce the daily announcements/newscast for broadcast-Write scripts, shoot (tape) and edit.

Produce-shoot(videotape) and edit video-yearbook
