Students will learn how to produce newscasts for broadcast to the school.

Students will learn how to produce a talkshow to be aired on the DPS cable channel.

Students will learn how to produce a video-yearbook.

Students will learn their role on the production team for specfic jobs-producer, director, technical director, audio engineer, tape operator, and camera operator.

Students will learn how to identify facts of a story and write scripts.

Students will tape productions in the studio and in the field using cameras, switcher, audio board, microphones, and production lights.

Students will learn video editing software (FinalCutPro) and (I-Movie) to complete projects in post-production.
